Mr. Tabibul Huq, graduated in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) Dhaka in 1975. He joined Bangladesh Army in Corps of EME and served until 1979. He was awarded Chief of Army Staff's Cane on graduation from Bangladesh Military Academy. He was trained in Germany on Digital Field Communication System for Bangladesh Army in 1977. He left Bangladesh Army and took up tenure in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia as Project Engineer of Sabah Electric Power Plant where he served till 1980.
In 1980 he made his vision into reality and incorporated his business Creative Engineers Ltd. - a pioneer in Elevator & Escalator sector in Bangladesh. He started the company with 3 staffs and presently stands at a company strength of about 800. Mr. Huq took several technical & management trainings in Germany, Switzerland & India on Elevators & Escalators. He was a well-travelled individual attending various seminars both home and abroad, and a leader in the promotion of the business at a global scale.
He was one of the Founder Directors of Mercantile Bank Ltd. in 1999, a private bank having 150 branches in Bangladesh with reported total operational revenue of 260 million USD and net profit of 33.09 million USD in 2021. At the time of his passing, he was the Vice-Chairman of the bank in 2013 - 2014.
Mr. Huq envisioned expanding into the manufacturing sector so founded and Creative Paper Mills in 2005. The facytory with a production capacity of 296 metric tons is laid out 25km from the capital at Rupgonj near Shitalakhya river. Due to gas shortages in the country, the factory finally commenced production from 2013 and is currently running on the strong governance and direction of his brother Mr. Kabirul Haque and confidants Feroz Ahmed and Mahbub Talukder exporting its products to India and Yemen with increased profits year on year.

Mr. Md. Rabiul Huq, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 1980. He has 15 years of experience working as manager in a multi-national Japanese Trading Company – KINSHO CORPORATION dealing with export and marketing of Mitsubishi products namely – vehicles, engines, generators, forklift etc. manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation & Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. Japan. He is known as a successful Manager in Japanese community. Mr. Huq was trained at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation - Kyoto, Japan, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries - Nagoya, Japan, and Mitsubishi Generator - Sagamihara Works, Japan. He has also received Technical Training on large size engine (3500 HP) high speed marine propulsion engine at GEC-Alsthom Paxman Ltd. UK (presently known as MAN & B&W Paxman). Mr. Huq also attended the Training Programme - "Development of Selling Skills" at Mumbai, India offered by Clyde Brighton Associates, Oxford, UK.
Mr. Huq joined Creative Engineers Ltd. (CEL) as Director in 1994 and took active part to diversify the business of the company in Defense & Energy. After being elected Managing Director of CEL, Mr. Huq has led the company in expanding sales, technical and management capacity of the company through change management initiatives. His successful endeavors in amplifying sales helped CEL regain the market share in Elevator and Escalator sector as a lead performer from 2017.
He is a Sponsor Director of Premier Leasing & Finance Limited and Premier Leasing Securities Limited. The leasing company being a non-banking financial institution was established in 2002 having authorized capital of TK. 400 million and initial paid-up capital of TK. 51 million providing lease finance and term finance in various sector of the country. He holds Vice-Chairman position at Premier Leasing and Finance Ltd in 2022.
Mr. Huq is also an active Rotarian and Member of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Cosmopolitan which received the best award of the Rotary District-3280 in 1999.

(a consulting company) as Design Engineer for Mechanical & Air Conditioning Systems of different project. Mr. Khaleque has designed the air conditioning system of many projects which include British Airways Sales Office, Dhaka, Jiban Bima Bhaban 24 Storied Building, Pubali Bank Head Office Building, T&T Board Office Bldg., Atomic Energy Centre, Ramna, & BEXIMCO Pharmaceuticals. He has also designed 100,000 Gallons capacity Swimming Pool for Ashuganj Fertilizer Factory Ltd residential project.
Mr. Khaleque served Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) as an Asstt. Engineer from 1976 to 1977. Mr. Khaleque left the country in 1978 after getting tenured at Ministry of Electricity, Govt. of Libya and was posted at Power Station of Ummal Jadwal, Al Shaty. He was responsible for the total management & operation of the Power Plant until 1985. After his return to Bangladesh, he joined Creative Engineers Ltd. as Director. He is responsible for the Field Operation & Maintenance of the Elevators & Escalators.
Mr. Khaleque is one of the founder Director of Global Insurance Ltd. a private General Insurance Company providing all types of general insurance established in April 2000. The Company is listed in both DSE and CSE.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from University of Toronto in 2010, Mushfiqul Huq returned to Bangladesh in 2014 and took Director position at Creative Engineers Ltd. He has held many presidential positions in his university days in several University clubs and was also the design editor of the UofT newspaper. After graduation in 2010 he worked as a Web- Designer at 9K Interactive in Toronto, Ontario. He has also designed several web pages as part of his freelance works. While in Toronto he studied in a continuing program in Business Administration in 2012 at University of Toronto.
After joining the family business, Mr. Huq underwent marketing training from Schindler India Pvt. Ltd. And now leads the sales and marketing team at Creative Engineers. His lasting contribution in fully revamping the sales team and successful strategies has led to efficient process development in sales, business development and after work maintenance teams which drove CEL to be reinstated as a market leader in Elevator and Escalator business.
Much like his father Tabibul Huq, Mushfiq-ul Huq’s amicable nature and popularity has established his noteworthy presence in the business world with an expansive network in the upcoming second-generation of leaders of businesses of various industries in Bangladesh.
After his father’s passing Mr. Huq also has involvement as an active director at Creative Paper Mills Ltd. currently overseeing proactive initiatives to expand sales and digital presence of their products.
Mrs. Tanzina Huq acquired M.A in Economics (Labour/Micro-econometrics specialization) and B.A (Honors) in Economics (Public Policy Specialization) from the world renowned University of Waterloo (UW) from Ontario, Canada in 2013. She was on a Co-operative program of study exposing her to internships as IT network Administrator at Matsu Manufacturing Ltd-Brampton, Canada, and as a VOIP Software tester at Blackberry- Research in Motion, Headquarters- Waterloo, Canada. Her research and teaching expertise developed through several projects, presenting econometric papers and teaching assistantship programs, and also attending seminars led by world renowned visionaries like Dr. Yunus, Bill Gates and Stephen Hawking at UW. Mrs. Huq was active in university social clubs and held presidential and VP positions organizing social events throughout her university years. She also has successful work experience in personal lending at a lead bank in Canada.
Mrs. Huq joined the family business- Creative Engineers Ltd. in 2014 and holds Director position since. She took active part in the financial management and projection of the company. She regularly manages the financial and commercial aspects of the business. She has also completed training programs from Schindler in Elevator and Escalator basics and financial management. Over the years, she has expanded her expertise into supply-chain management and brought about several organizational restructuring in finance and logistics to increase procedural efficiency of the business driving profitability.
After her father Tabibul Huq’s passing, Ms. Tanzina holds shareholder position at Mercantile Bank Limited a renowned lead bank in the country.
Received her B.Sc. (Hons) & M.Sc degree from the University of Dhaka in 1985 & 1986 respectively. She joined the company as Director in 1987 and is now looking after the Human Resources Division of the company. She has traveled to many countries of the world and gained substantial experience in business.
Capt. AZM Shameem Khan Pathan (L) psc BN joined Bangladesh Navy in 1978 and was commissioned in Electrical Branch in December 1980. He is a graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Yugoslav Naval Training Centre (Former Yugoslavia/ Present Croatia). He did his Post Graduate Diploma in Weapon Engineering Application Course (WEAC) from Royal Navy in year 1987-88 and Staff Course from Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Mirpur, Dhaka. He did many courses at home and abroad including Defence Management Course from Naval Post Graduate School, Monteney, California, USA; Disaster Management Course and Engineering Management Course, etc. Capt. Shameem Khan Pathan (Retd.) served on board Navy Ships, Naval Establishment, Naval Dockyard, Naval Headquarters and Coast Guard Headquarters. He was In charge of Electrical School of Bangladesh Navy. He served as Fleet Electrical Officer and Commended, a technical establishment of Navy. He was Staff Officer Technical Stores and Deputy Director Technical Stores where he was involved in procurement for Navy. In BN Dockyard he served as General Manager-Planning & Estimation, General Manager Production and General Manager-Yard Services. He served as Director Naval Weapon and Electrical Engineering (DNW&EE) at Naval Headquarters and Director Engineering at Coast Guard Headquarters. Capt. Shameem Khan Pathan was involved in many projects of Navy including installation of Weapon and Fire Control System on board ships, procurement & installation of Action Speed Tactical Traineer (ASTT), Bridge Simulator etc in Navy. Capt.
Shameem Khan Pathan (Retd.) joined Creative Engineers Limited as Executive Director under the Trading business unit after his retirement from Navy. He looks into business with Defense, Maritime Sector, Shipyards, Coast Guard, etc. Capt. Shameem Khan Pathan (Retd.) has gained exposure to most of the countries in Europe, USA, Canada, Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, Singapore and Malaysia through his professional career which helps him in maintaining and acquiring projects from various global suppliers.
