We started our journey by developing the elevator market in Bangladesh with the renowned brand Haushahn GmbH and later on acquired the exclusive distributorship rights for the products and services of the global elevator giant, Schindler Group, operating as their representative for the Bangladesh National Market.
Over the years CEL has expanded its range of products & services, adding divisions, skilled engineers & technicians, and global collaborations to its name. CEL dedicatedly pursues, the vision of its leaders of empowering the national technology framework, by contributing sophisticated technology and expertise to the fields of electrical, aeronautical, mechanical, & naval engineering in Bangladesh.
CEL has been an active participant in the maritime sector since the 90s, beginning its journey with the successful re-engineering of a highly sophisticated Bangladesh Navy vessel, eventually leading to one marine project after another. CEL also has a powerful ‘Pump Division’, which deals with irrigation pumps, sewage pumps, municipal pumps, etc. Adding to CEL’s record of contributions and achievements, is the securing of the ‘Well Field Construction Project of Dhaka WASA’, for Hyundai Rotem. We are also the first company in the country, to successfully supply, install & commission several Microwave Radio Links & OMNI-SKIP MUX for the Bangladesh Telephone & Telegraph Board (BTTB).
